1. Information We Collect
Account & Identity Data
When you create an account, we collect your name, email address, company name, and billing information necessary to provide our services.
Usage & Technical Data
We automatically collect information about how you interact with VCloud, including IP addresses, browser type, pages visited, features used, and performance metrics to improve our platform.
Infrastructure Data
Operational data related to your infrastructure environment, including virtual machines (VMs), containers, Kubernetes pods, nodes, clusters, resource utilization (CPU, memory, storage, network), deployment tracking, monitoring metrics, and configuration settings required to manage, maintain, and optimize your platform.
2. How We Use Your Information
Service Delivery
To provision, manage, and maintain your cloud infrastructure, process payments, and deliver the features you have subscribed to.
Communications
To send you service updates, security alerts, invoices, and — only with your consent — product news and promotional content.
Improvement & Analytics
To understand usage patterns, diagnose technical issues, and develop new features. Analytics data is aggregated and anonymised where possible.
3. Data Sharing & Disclosure
We Do Not Sell Your Data
VCloud does not sell, rent, or trade your personal information to third parties for their marketing purposes, ever.
Infrastructure Partners
We rely primarily on Amazon Web Services (AWS) to host and operate our production infrastructure, ensuring high availability, scalability, and security standards. Certain services and workloads may also be supported through Microsoft Azure infrastructure depending on operational and business requirements.
4. Data Security
Encryption
All data is encrypted in transit using TLS 1.3 and at rest using AES-256 encryption. Backups are encrypted and stored in geographically redundant locations.
Access Controls
Access to production systems is restricted to authorised personnel only, protected by multi-factor authentication and audit logging.
Incident Response
We maintain a formal incident response program. In the event of a data breach affecting you, we will notify you within 72 hours as required by applicable law.
5. Your Rights
Access & Portability
You may request a copy of all personal data we hold about you at any time. We will provide it in a portable, machine-readable format within 30 days.
Correction & Deletion
You may update inaccurate data via your dashboard or request deletion of your account and associated data. Some data may be retained for legal or billing purposes.
Opt-Out
You may unsubscribe from marketing communications at any time via the link in any email we send, or by contacting our support team.
