Do I need to provision a server first? No. There's no infrastructure to set up on your end at any point - see Philosophy.
Can I sign in without Google or GitLab? Every account starts with one of the two, but your organization can connect its own identity provider afterward - Microsoft Entra ID, Okta, Google Workspace, and several others directly, or a generic SAML/OpenID/LDAP connection - through a self-service setup wizard. Does adding more people to my organization cost more? No. Every plan includes unlimited members - see Plans.
Can I install more than one instance of the same app? Yes. An app can be installed more than once in the same organization - most commonly one shared, organization-scoped instance plus personal instances for individual members, for apps like VS Code Server where that split makes sense. See App instances.
What happens if I uninstall an app by mistake? Uninstalling is permanent and removes the app's data - there's no undo. Make sure a recent backup exists, or export what you need, before uninstalling. See App lifecycle and states.
Can I move an app I installed on VCloud to my own infrastructure later? VCloud doesn't offer an export-to-your-own-infrastructure path today, and running on infrastructure it doesn't operate isn't part of the model - see How VCloud compares.
